This is one of the simple and quick sabzi recipe,requires no ginger,no garlic,no coconut n no grinding..now yow will accept its simple and quick isn't it?? This sabzi goes well with any Indian breads n dosa varieties also.I served this sabzi for Chapathi. Heres the recipe...
Ingredients
- Cauliflower 1 medium size(cut in to small florets)
- Peas 1/4 cup
- Onion 1 medium (finely chopped)
- Tomato 1 medium(finely chopped)
- All purpose flour(APF) 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder a pinch
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Amchur powder 1/4 tsp
- Curry powder 2 tsp(I used MTR)
- Kasoori Methi/dried methi leaves 1 and 1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 2-3 tsp
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
- Cilantro few finely chopped for garnishing
- Cut the cauliflower in to small florets n wash thoroughly ,drain n keep aside.
- Heat oil in a wok/pan, add mustard n fennel seeds wait till splutter and add finely chopped onions and saute for 1 minute and add 1/2 tsp of APF and saute with onion nicely till onion turns soft n pink.
- Then add chopped tomatoes and saute till it turn soft n mushy.
- After that add cauliflower florets n peas and fry for 1 minute and then add all dry powder and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Now add enough salt n water(to the desired consistency) stir well and cook covered in medium heat till cauliflower gets 3/4th cooked.
- Lastly add kasoori methi n some finely chopped cilantro ,give a nice mix n simmer for 2 minutes.(cook covered)
- That's all quick n delicious Cauliflower Peas Sabzi is ready to serve.
