Kick starting the Valentine Month with this rich, delicious Chocolate Banana Milkshake with ice-cream. Though cold beverages are not perfect for the current cold weather, Ice-cream will not fall this category to us & hope its yes from most of you. Ice cream is a kind of dessert that can be enjoyed anytime of the year, even its raining or snowing or a scorching heat outside. Especially kids will never say NO to ice cream right? My kids are not exceptional too and few weeks back they bought a box of Blue Bunnys Vanilla Ice cream & Mint Chocolate ice cream. From that day daily they wanted at least one small scoop after lunch meal.
Some times I make Fruit Salad ice cream - 2 scoops of ice cream with their favorite fruits & nuts. Like me they also do not like ripe bananas or bananas with more black spots on skin. But its the healthy so I never waste them instead the ripe bananas will turn to Muffins or Milkshake or Appam/Kachayam and this time we had ice cream so made this rich Chocolate Banana Milkshake. Nice way to use over ripe bananas to feed kids. This is one of their favorite drinks and the little one wanted to decorate the glass with some whipped cream like the Mc.Ds Milkshake. But i don't have whipped cream so I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream :)

Variation
Instead of ice cream you can also use Banana Frozen Yogurt.
For a Low fat/ Low calorie Version - Skip ice cream and use 1-2 tbsp quick cooking oats and blend it.
With the same recipe, instead of Banana you can use Apple or Strawberry.
-Because of my blender I blended banana first then added ice cream & cocoa powder, then milk...
