These pakoras are similar to south Indian bajis in which the paneer pieces are dipped in spicy besan batter and deep fried. As I am not much fond of bhajis, i made this paneer pakoras for kids and they loved it. These paneer pakoras are gluten free and are very easy to make at home.

Ingredients
- Paneer 4 oz(cut into thin slices)
- Besan Flour/Gram Flour 1/4 cup
- Rice Flour 1 tbsp
- Baking Soda a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
- Hing 1/4 tsp
- Cumin seeds/Jeera 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder 1/4 tsp
- Finely chopped Cilantro 1-2 tbsp(optional)
- Oil to deep fry
Method
- In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients from Besan flout to Cilantro and mix well.
- Now add water little by little and make it to a smooth and thin batter.
- Heat oil in an medium high heat till it get really hot.
- Dip individual slice of paneer in to the batter and deep fry them in hot oil till it turns light golden brown on both sides.
- Then remove form the oil and drain them in a paper towel and serve hot with Green chutney or ketchup.
Notes:Instead of red chilli powder you can also use green chilli paste.You can also add some Crushed ajwain seeds to the batter.
