Milagu Podi Idli / Mini Pepper Idli Recipe is a simple kids friendly breakfast or lunch box recipe. You can even serve this as a after school snack for kids. This is almost similar to my Podi Idli except the addition of freshly crushed black pepper. I made this long back when my kid was caught with cold and cough. I wanted to have him Milagu Rasam and Rice but he doesn't like rasam rice and asked whether he could have idli, so suddenly this idea came to my mind and the Milagu Podi Idli was super hit with kids and they loved it a lot. You don't even need any special side dish for this ildi, just a ketchup is enough. But you can also serve with Tiffin Sambar or Chutney.

Chicken Chalna Recipe | Hotel Style Chicken Chalna Recipe | Chicken Chalna For Parotta
I thought, after sharing my pain with my friends and readers, I will feel bit better but it didn't helped me. I only felt so down and weak, not able to do any thing. Past two days went simply sitting and crying, today somehow pushed myself and started writing this post. Coming to the recipe, Chicken Chalna or Chicken Salna is a spicy south Indian Style Chicken Gravy that is served with Parotta or Idli /Dosa or even with Biryani. This Chicken Chalna recipe is my Mom's recipe and she got this recipe from a Parotta Master who lived as our neighbor in my Home Town. He just gave the hint of the recipe and she recreated it perfectly. This Chalna is tend to be darker in color which we couldn't with natural spices. I think they may use some artificial color to get that deep greenish brown colored gravy. Other wise the taste was similar to the hotel chalna. Instead of Chicken, You can even use vegetables to make vegetable chalna. Now off to the recipe...

Indo-Chinese Veg Fried Rice Recipe | Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe | Restaurant Style Veg Fried Rice(Indo-Chinese Style)
Amma/Mom, the word itself gives so much happiness, energy and hope to life. No one and nothing can compensate a Mom and her unconditional love and care. I lost my MOM on May 20th 2016 due to sudden cardiac arrest at the age of just 50. I never thought that I will not meet her forever.
It is one month now but I am in that same state of shock, pain, fear and loss. I have no good reason to console myself and stay strong. She is not that much old or not sick person. On May 19th night 9.45 pm India Time, I spoke to her and she was normal happy and excited because of her daughter( My sis) and grand daughter's arrival. It was only a 13 minutes conversation, usually our call will not end before 2 hours but that day I wasn't feeling well with severe dizziness and headache that i couldn't lift my head. So she felt sad for me and told me to take rest and said, that she will call me in the morning to check how I am doing.
