- Banana 1 no.
- Fresh or Frozen Blueberry 1/3 cup
- Medjool Dates 1 or 2
- Frozen Chikoo or any fruit 1/4 cup
- Organic Chia Seeds 2 tsp
- Organic Ground Flax Seeds 1-2 Tbsp
- Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds 1 Tbsp
- Quick Oats 1/4 cup or 1/3 cup
- Milk/almond/Soy/Oats or Any 3/4 cup
- Water 1/4 cup (Adjust liquid to desired consistency)
- Maple Syrup 1-2 tsp(optional)
Notes:
You can use fresh or frozen berries. Adding chikoo is optional you can skip or replace with mango or any desired fruit.
For Vegan option, use nuts milk or plant based milk.I usually use Almond milk or greek yogurt for my breakfast smoothies but this time used regular milk.Dates gives nice texture and sweet taste to the smoothies. Use Medjool dates.Pumpkin seeds can be replaced with any desired seeds.You can use raw oats in the smoothie, it blends well and tastes good and doesn't give any bitter taste.You can also add 1-2 Tbsp any nuts butter but even without that the smoothie is thick creamy because of the addition of chia seeds, ground flax seeds & pumpkin seeds.Method
- Take all the ingredients in a blender, Blend for 45-60 seconds.
- Then transfer to a serving glass or bowl and top it with some chia & pumpkin seeds, oats and if needed add some sliced banana & some berries on top and enjoy.
